I am in my early thirties and live in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. A few years back I finished my Bachelor of Computer Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am now working on my M.Eng. in the area of cryptography.
Over the years I have worked for many different companies including, Newtel Communications (now Aliant), Cisco Systems, Verafin Inc and Blueline Innovations. I am currently a Product Engineer in the Stratos Customer Solutions Engineering group.
When I do have free time (which is must less frequent than I would like), I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and watching movies. I don’t really have a favorite author and I will read almost anything that is recommended to me. I consider myself a beginner when it comes to the guitar. I have been playing off and on for a few years, but don’t really have a lot of time to devote to it, so I improve slowly. When I do play, I normally stick to music from the sixties and seventies. As for favorite bands, the Eagles and Pink Floyd are at the top of my list.
Well, that’s the reader’s digest version of me. If you actually bothered to read this far, thank you, and please check out the other sections of my site. There you will find other info on me including software and papers I have written for school and some useful links (among other things).
